The steps involved in playing poker are:

• Sit Down: Here, the player sits to the near end of the table.
• Ante: When it comes to the player’s chance to play, a button prompts the player to post. It is in this stage that the player has to either post what is called as the Big Blind or can pass the hand or even can sit out.
• Betting: Bet button provided on the screen enables the player to push the required or correct number of chips onto the table using the selected player image that represents the player. This betting made by the image can also be seen by other players at the same time.
• Dealing cards: Cards are issued to all the players, which is the important step to start the round.
• Viewing cards: The player can see the cards selected or dealt by clicking on the cards. The movement of the character can be seen by other players even here.
• Act when prompted: When the player’s turn comes, he/she is prompted with choices in the display.

New Table

This occurs when a player opts to choose another table. This is optional to the player. The options that area available for one’s own table are the name, four games choice, four stakes and play money.

Features

• Bubble hints are provided to guide the player throughout the game which includes the game play descriptions.
• The player can chat with other players as it takes place in a real poker game. To look at these chat logs, one has to click the chat tab provided in the display.
• The screen will show the player’s name along with the value of the chip. When the mouse is scrolled on the other players, the same information can be known.
• The ping time is also shown on the screen to know that the player’s message has reached the server. The ping time of other players can also be known by scrolling the mouse on the other players. This can give an idea to the player on other players as to whether they react fast or are slow.
• By clicking on the cards, one can see their cards that are dealt. While doing so, other can see the character or image selected to represent the player having a look at its cards. One cannot avoid others by seeing this animation by just closing that setting as it will be open on the other players’ screen.
• The audio option provided controls the sounds when the player is playing. One can hear the sound of chips that are dropped or pushed onto the table. The function can be switched on or off , as required.

The player can even take the notes with the help of options provided from some services. These notes are required to become a better poker player. These notes can also be saved and reviewed when required.

When a player on the screen is clicked, the notes window appears on the screen and can use the various options provided to either enter or to delete. To review the notes, the player has to click on the menu to select notes option to get their notes on the screen.

The player can improve on the poker game by analyzing him/her self. When Menu option is clicked, Statistics option helps in knowing as to how frequently the player has checked, called, bet, raised, folded, unfolded, etc. These statistics can be reset at any time.
