Once you log on you’ll be taken to the lobby.
Now its time to select a table and get started playing.
Selecting a Table
In the Lobby window you can choose from several options in the top menu to help you chose a seat and get started.
- You can sort the list by limit or no limit or view all types of tables
- You may choose to play a game or if you would like to just watch a game you can choose to spectate
- Choose your table stakes (from pennies to dollars)
- To play, choose a table with at least one other person at the table because a minimum of two people are needed to play the game. A maximum of 6 to 10 players can be at each table depending on the table.
- You may double click on an open table to be taken directly to the game or you may choose from the list of options at the top of the screen to open the table, wait for a seat at a table, or spectate and just watch the table play.
At the Table
All the action takes place at the Game Table.
If a hand is already in progress you will be a spectator at the table until the next hand begins
- A new hand will start whenever at least a two players are sitting in.
- When it’s your turn to take action your cards will be highlighted in red.
To make decisions about your moves before your turn has arrived, use the PreAction Buttons allow at the bottom of the screen. These allow a player have more time to observe other players actions in order to guess what hands they are playing. The PreAction buttons for MGN Limit Texas Hold’em are as follows:
- CHK/FLD – Folds your hand unless there is no outstanding bet on the table, in this case it checks your hand
- CALL/ANY – Calls any outstanding Bet
- BET – Initiates a bet, only seen by the player with now outstanding bets to them
- LEAVE – Leave the session and go back to the lobby.
During play you have a limited amount of time to select which option or your hand will be folded so that play can progress.
The bottom menu bar also shows bet limits, pot size, and the time remaining in the current player’s turn.
