Chris "Jesus" Ferguson Poker Player Biography

Chris "Jesus" Ferguson is one of the most well known and respected players in the game. He has a long family history in gambling and cards. Chris's father was a gaming professor at UCLA for many years. His father would often bring home projects and Chris would help. This was the beginning of Chris�s interest in poker. He spent a much of his time in college playing poker. Once he finished his PhD in computer sciences he decided to test his luck in professional poker.

Ferguson was coined the nickname �Jesus� due to his long flowing locks which resemble the religious figure. This name is also attached to his luck at the table and ability to always draw excellent cards. In 2000 Chris won the WSOP and surprised the competition. Chris's analytical skills and absolute understanding of the game is what took him to the top. He is also responsible for developing his very own online poker platform: Full Tilt Poker.
