Originally from Copenhagen, Denmark Gus Hansen didn’t always plan on becoming a world renowned professional poker player. Gus is one of the youngest players inducted into the World Poker Tour Walk of fame. He has always been able to get into the minds of players and really figure out their cards without even seeing them. Hansen is able to play the players. Gus tries to keep a low profile in the poker circuit. You will rarely find him in the large poker tours or tournaments. He prefers high-buy in table games where he can dominate the table quickly. Before Gus Hansen’s poker career launched, he was well known for his skill in the game of Backgammon.
