Anaconda (‘Pass the Trash’)

Each player is dealt with seven cards in this game. Each player examines his hand, before the first round of betting. Then removing from his hands exactly three cards, each player places them on the table to his left. After this, the discarded cards by his right neighbor are picked up and placed in his hand. In this way each player would have got three cards from his right neighbor. It is important that each player does not look at receiving card before discarding his cards. This is the first pass after which is a betting round. In the second pass, two cards are passed by each player to his right neighbor and second betting round takes place. The third pass follows, where each right neighbor passes one card to left neighbor which is followed by a fourth round betting and showdown. In the end, whoever will have best five-card high hand and can make out of the seven in his hand, he wins the pot.

The showdown is replaced by rollout phase in some casual games as in the ‘Shotgun’ game. The game will have totally eight betting rounds by which generally, any chance of any skillful play in further rounds is destroyed.

There are opportunities to modify the above games in many ways as per the whims of the players.
