Badugi Draw Poker

The name of this game is also sometime called as Padooki or Badougi. This game is played as a four card ace-to-five low lowball variant. Hand rankings of the traditional poker are changed in this game. A Badugi is a four card hand and different ranks and suits are given for all the cards in this game. The cards are not played if they match with others of same rank and suit and the number of cards on the play are the criterion for evaluating the hands.

In and example for matching cards, they could be Ace of spades, 2 of clubs, 3 of hearts, 4 of diamonds, 4 card 4 high, the best possible Badougi. In the same way, ten of clubs, J of hearts, Q of Diamonds, K of hearts, 4 card, the worst possible Badougi.
The betting structure being 1-1-2-2, usual play is triple-draw, but it can be played without limit also.
