Four Before

This game is another variation especially suitable to lowball is applicable to any of the above games. Each player is given four cards to deal in the beginning deal. This is followed by a betting round, when one more card is drawn by each player than discarding, thus reaching five cards in the hand. Then follows the final betting round and later followed by showdown. The interesting thing in this game is that a ‘pat’ hand cannot be dealt, which means completing the hand before draw.
