Q-Ball
This game is designed by Michael Wiesenberg as a lowball game. This is the combination of some of the variations earlier described. Three blinds generally comprise in this play – one unit each from the dealer and to his left and the second player to the dealer’s left with two units. One joker will be in the deck. Three cards are dealt to each player. Then the betting round follows. The player immediately next to big blind begins the betting. The first round will no checking.
In the next round, fourth card is dealt to each player. The second round of betting follows and the still-active player left to the dealer starts the betting. This round also does not allow checking, and in spite of the fact that the first player is not facing the bet, play must be opened by the first player. This is followed by the fifth card being dealt to each player. After this, third round betting begins on the left of the dealer. Checking is allowed at this stage. At last, each player is allowed to draw like a normal draw poker. The fourth round of betting here, followed by showdown. Value of Ace-to-five low are used.
Betting structure of 1-2-2-4 is recommended with a fixed limit play. This means that twice the amount of first round should be allowed to be bet in second and third rounds of betting and four times the first round should be allowed to be bet in the final round.
